Ground Balance Fast AutoTrac
The GMT has an automatic ground balance capability called FAST AUTOTRAC. A Ground Value is displayed in the meter from 0-99 and the meter also displays the probability of any target detected being iron. The fast tracking system itself has a resolution of 1 part in 4,000.Ground Balance Grab Pad
Used in both MANUAL and FAST AUTOTRAC modes you can quickly reset GROUND BALANCE by pressing & holding the GRAB PAD and pumping the searchcoil up and down ONCE. The microprocessor will instantly jump to GROUND BALANCE.Patented ERS 4,000:1 Precision Manual Ground Balance
What is ERS? It's a quantum leap in technology- taking manual ground balance resolution from 40:1 to 4,000:1! "Electronic Ramping Systems" is an exclusive White's Goldmaster innovation. The GAIN control knob turns the GMT ON and OFF and controls the GAIN. Starting from the POWER OFF position and going clockwise, the power is turned ON and the dial increases the GAIN from a minimum level of "1" to a maximum level of "10". Centre position provides NO AUDIO SIGNAL BOOST. The FORWARD position provides a 4X boost in the loudness of the audio signal. The PULLED or spring loaded position is used for BATTERY CHECK.Variable SAT Speed Control
The recommended Initial Setting of the VSAT control is between 3x and 4x and the speed setting should then be increased when the ground mineralisation becomes more unstable.Iron I.D. Trigger Adgustment
Just squeeze the trigger ... switch from All-Metal hunting to the Iron I.D. circuit for speedy target identification. Lock in the forward position and hunt full-time in Iron I.D. The GMT has an improved microprocessor driven THRESHOLD control that is adjusted with a single turn. It does not, therefore, require a 10 turn pot for precise adjustment. The digital software provides a much higher resolution.Headphone Jack
