The "FOOT" style loop is the most innovative loop design in the history of metal detecting. Over 3000 have been sold to date and orders are still coming in steadily. The theory behind the design is called "differential" loop geometry. That is to say, the front half of the loop is positive while the back half remains negative. This allows for better canceling of ground mineralisation and ease of pinpointing. All round loops send down a signal in the shape of a cone. At the maximum detection depth of the loop, this only covers an area about the size of a silver dollar. The Bigfoot sends down a signal shaped like a windshield wiper blade and in the discriminate mode, covers a path equivalent to the length of the loop (eighteen inches). In the "all metal" mode the Bigfoot detects from the front half of the loop only. This characteristic makes it possible to pinpoint very accurately. White's Eagles and Spectrums have a special setting called "absolute value" which allows for detecting on the full loop in the all metal mode as well. The Bigfoot attains depths about equivalent to an 8" diameter loop. Its main advantage is that it covers up to 10 times the ground in one sweep and is ideal for searching large areas, such as beaches, ski slopes, fields and parks. The Bigfoot is showing up in competition hunts across the USA, even on plowed fields in England. It is designed for use on all White's SL Models, Eagles, Quantums and Spectrums..
Another special purpose Applied Creativity loop, designed to eliminate signal interference from 60 cycle transformers, high tension wires, radio frequency and other metal detectors. Because of its size, this six inch loop works great in high trash areas and easily matches the depth of 8 inch plus loops. In fact, in harsh environments it gets much greater depth than your standard loop because it has the ability to operate at a higher sensitivity level with less interference. It doesn't lose coins on edge and pin-pointing is a breeze. It's very sensitive to tiny targets and its ability to handle bad ground mineralisation makes it a good prospecting loop. When used in the "all metal mode" this loop does not detect from the top of the coil, thus it can be used under metal fences and playground equipment. When you see it, don't be alarmed by the thickness. That's what makes it work! It is designed for use on White's Pro's, Eagles, Quantums & Spectrums.
Magnum Force Loops are designed by Jim Karbowski for use by Cache and Relic Hunters. Both the 15" and 25" loops are maximized for high sensitivity for larger, deeper targets and are extremely lightweight for their size. Both loops are designed for use on all White's Pro's, Eagle's, Quantums and Spectrums.
The 15" Magnum Force Depth Plus loop is best suited for finding targets in the coffee can size or larger and will achieve depths up to 3 to 5 feet depending on the detector used and the size of the target. This loop is a favorite among Relic Hunters.
The Magnum Force 25" loop is the "Big Daddy" of the deep searching loops and is designed for the serious Treasure Hunter. Relic and Cache Hunters can achieve depths of 6 to 9 feet, again depending on the detector used and the size of the target. Although the 15" Magnum Force Loop may be used in the discriminate mode, such as when relic hunting, large loops perform best in the "all metal" mode and achieve their best depths when searching for larger targets. The 25" loop should only be used in the "all metal" mode following the instructions enclosed with it. For ease of operation, a Sierra Arm Support System is included with the 25" loop.
