Another prospector finds a specimen gold nugget


Another Gold Nugget Specimen - 32 ozs

3rd. May1997 -- Another specimen Gold Nugget found in our local Dunolly area by a local prospector. Found three weeks ago it was at a depth of 2' 4" in red clay and the prospector says he only just heard it and did not realise what he had at the time until he extracted it. On recovery it weighed in at 32 ounces total and after a specific gravity test the total gold content is estimated to be 16 ounces 12 pennyweights.
