W.A. Gold Nugget find

14th. November 1998 -- Today a visiting prospector showed us the gold nugget in the photograph above which he found last August 7km. out of Leonora in Western Australia. This prospector told us he also found about 4 ounces of smaller nuggets in the same area. The area which had been worked before was open flat country and the nugget was found approximately 15 inches deep under 12 inches of conglomerate.
