Visiting detector operator shows recent finds

Geelong prospector also shows us some gold nuggets


Gold Nuggets Total Weight - 1 oz 1 dwt 7 gr

7th. May1997 -- Again for the second time today another prospector showed us some of the Gold Nuggets which he has found over the last few days in several different patches all contained within the Golden Triangle region. The nuggets range in weight from 2 pennyweights 22 grains down to 2 grains for a total weight of 1 ounce 1 pennyweight 7 grains. The largest nuggets of the group weighed 2 dwts 22 gr, 2 dwts, 1 dwt, 22 grs, and 19 grs respectively.
