More Gold Nuggets from Dunolly
11th. January 2000 -- The three gold nuggets shown above were found by a local prospector within the Dunolly Goldfields over a two month period along with a number of smaller nuggets not pictured. The larger of the three actually had grass growing on it. Top left 3 ounces 16 pennyweights 5 grains -- Top right 2 ounces 8 pennyweights 5 grains -- Bottom 5 ounces 18 pennyweights 19 grains.
