Prospectors holiday find

6th. October 2000 -- A visiting prospector who has been coming to the area for 8 years, and his largest find to date had been 44 grams found the specimen nugget in the photograph above on the 3rd. of October. He found it in slaty ground on a slope between a reef and some diggings in a open, low scrubby area with few trees. It was found using an SD2200D with 11 inch DD coil in the Tarnagulla area.
