Local Prospectors find
Side 1. -- Weight 2 ozs. 18 dwts.
15gr. -- Side 2.
25th. October 2000 -- This gold nugget which weighed 2 ounces 18 pennyweights 15 grains was found by a local in the Dunolly area about 3 months ago. The prospector found it at a depth of 12 inches using an SD2200 and 11 inch mono coil. The area was open bushland with lots of rubbish lying around. The nugget was almost passed over as another piece of rubbish.
