FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
29th. May1997 -- For the past week we have been struggling to repair our web site. It seems several files were corrupted when we attempted to up-load new Press Releases to our "What's News" pages. We have traced the problem to water damage to our phone line from recent rain and Telstra has now made temporary repairs. As this is the first decent rain we have had for almost six months I can only wonder what we are in for through the coming winter. The problem was exacerbated by our continued attempts to up-load over the affected line until we released the nature of the problem and contacted the Telstra service department. We finally finished repairs and restored our site to normal ( I hope ) at 12.45 am local time this morning, - sorry for any inconvenience.
