Find by two visiting Prospectors
Side 1. -- Weight 13 ozs. -- Side 2.
8th. February 2001 -- This gold nugget which weighed 13 ounces was found with a FT16000 by two visitng prospectors lying about 2 to 3 inches deep in virgin ground near some old diggings somewhere within the Dunolly to Whela Goldfields. It was their first find for three years and the area was open bushland with thick scrub.
