Another visiting Prospector's find

12th. February 2001 -- This gold nugget was found earlier this February within the Maryborough Goldfields. It was found with a SD2100 and 18 inch coil. The nugget weighed 21 pennyweights 3 grains and was found on the surface near some old diggings. The terrain was open bushland with the ground consisting of red clay and ironstone quartz gravel.
