1st. April 2001 -- The gold nuggets shown above were found in bushland near Rushworth not far from an old lead. The ground consisted of reddish clay and gravel. The nuggets were found lying at a depth ranging from a few inches to several inches deep. The detector used was an SD2200D & 11" DD search coil.
