4th. May 2001 -- This gold nugget was found in the Talbot Goldfields. It was found on a hillside near some old diggings in ground consisting of red clay and wash. It was at a depth of between 1 foot to 1.5 feet deep and was found with a standard SD2000 using an 18 inch Coiltek DD searchcoil.
