22nd. September 2001 -- This gold nugget which weighed 42 ounces 8 pennyweights was found in the Tarnagulla Goldfields in a heavy trash area using an old Minelab Sovereign. The nugget was lying at a depth of around 12 inches in hard clayish ground near some old workings.
