Another Local reveals Gold find

Local Prospector shows us one of his recent Gold finds


Gold Nugget weight - 15 ozs 1 dwt

31st. May1997 -- Today one of our long time customers showed us one of his recent gold finds and allowed us to photograph it for inclusion in this segment. The gold nugget weighed 15 ounces and 1 pennyweight and was found near Rheola in an area close to granitic formations near a contact zone. He says it was in an area on its own just off the side of an old surfaced area and lying approximately 16 inches deep in a cemented patch. the nugget was just soaked in water to clean.
