Talbot Tourist Guide

To appreciate the extent of the development of Talbot in 1861, a walking tour brochure of the town is available from Talbot Tourism Information, at Goldfields Antiques.
The tour takes visitors past the many historic buildings and sites located throughout the town.
These include the Talbot Post Office, court house, railway station, town hall, and Soldiers Memorial Park, Bull and Mouth Hotel, St. Michael's Church of England, the former flour mill and the fire brigade engine house.
Aboriginal heritage is also evident in the area including drinking wells and a "birthing tree".
