Find
the initials carved in the century old fig tree.
When in season taste the figs, plums, peaches,
apples and mulberries straight off the trees.
Sit
under the 120 year old peppercorn trees and listen
to the whispering breeze gently blowing through
the canopy.
A
variety of native birds (magpies, green parrots,
cockatoos, honeyeaters, blue wren) busy themselves
all around the garden. A new native garden completed
in 1999 is hoped to enhance the bird life even
more.
Meander
around the many nooks and crannies where cascading
roses climb, scented wisteria hangs, bulbs and cottage
gardens bloom, ferneries cool the pergola and herbs
perfume the air. Every turn finds another garden
where natives mingle with fruit, wisteria, she oak
and peppercorn trees.
