Carisbrook is central to the Pyrenees Wineries, Maryborough Railway Station, Ballarat, Bendigo, Dunolly, Maldon, Daylesford and many other historic gold mining areas of Victoria. It is central to the Reservoirs of Tullaroop, Laanecoorie and Cairn Curran for the fishing enthusiast.
