Laanecoorie River Reserve is a caravan and camping reserve on the bank of the Loddon river. Situated amongst the river gums there is an abundance of wildlife, including possums, platypus, wombats and a large variety of birds.

The Loddon river is home to many varieties of fish including cod, yellowbelly, trout, redfin, tench, and unfortunately carp. Good fishing is to be had from the river banks right at your campsite.
The Riverside Camp toilet block.Since the Laanecoorie General Store closed its doors the nearest provisions to be had are at the Laanecoorie Lakeside Resort kiosk, however the old General Store owners still manage the camping sites for the Shire of Loddon.
