Original Titan Press Release

12th. February 2004

It's been a long time coming
but it is getting close now

Project Titan R&D has been continuously ongoing for several years as many of our customers know from their personal enquiries. While we had built an early prototype that did confirm some early concepts we never dreamed at the outset of the Pandora's Box we were about to open and the amount of time and effort that was to eventually go into this project.

The major part of this time has been spent researching new ideas and methods rather than actual development. Although our original design concepts still remain true the many exiting discoveries made by Finders over this period have changed both our thinking and our proposed methods of achieving the final outcome.

Although we still have many avenues we wish to explore for future projects Finders has now reached the stage where further research has been put on hold for the present time and our focus has now been shifted almost wholly to the development stage. At Finders we are now in the process of locking in final design concepts and the implementation of the advanced knowledge already gained from this research to firstly build an updated prototype and then ultimately a production model.

Due to our extensive research program undertaken over this period we are sure our customers are going to be very pleased with the final result. As yet Finders is not able to fix a final retail price until we have a final production model and manufacturing costs. (at the present time the actual detector is still unnamed) - (Just Project Titan).

Many of our customers have shown their confidence in Finders ability to produce such a detector and have placed provisional orders to purchase the detector when the first model is released. Up to this point in time all we have been able to tell customers who have expressed an interest is that the detector  will not be cheap but will outperform existing technology. When we finally have an actual model to demonstrate to customers and prove beyond any doubt that it does perform as we claim, and we are also able to quote final retail prices along with an expected delivery date, then delivery will be strictly in the order of entry into our preorder book with the customers who have placed provisional orders having first opportunity to confirm their order when stock becomes available.

Project Titan Update
Documentation is finally with Patent Attorneys

After many weeks of compiling the multitude of records and other information we have documented during the research stage of this project into the document form required by our Patent Attorneys, as well as undertaking considerable final patent searching, along with trying to fully understand the underlying core of existing patents which many of the inventors seem to have gone out of their way to obfuscate, we have now finally submitted our patent documentation with our Patent Attorneys.
