In the early days of electronic gold prospecting, Ken Roberts was the first ever to modify many brands of the detectors that were being imported at that time for Australian ground conditions. As a hands on prospector residing in the heart of the famous Golden Triangle Ken also introduced many new prospecting accessories and techniques. Sending Repairs:
While there are many methods of sending gold/metal detector repairs and/or modifications to Finders we recommend the following method. Firstly for detectors always send both the control box and searchcoil, also include batteries, battery holders hip-mount cables etc. so we can test the complete unit (the stems are not necessary if difficult to pack). For detectors and all other items we recommend the following method of packaging.
